In addition to writing, singing, and playing my own songs, I have a number of other projects detailed below.

I used to play electric guitar in an instrumental rock and roll trio called Rip Shamus. Our debut caused such a ruckus that women were shedding their shirts and men were breaking beer bottles on their own heads. Good god. We flew too close to the sun, however, and the instant fame and recognition caused one member of the band to retire to Morocco, and another to fall into drug addiction. RIP Rip Shamus.

I play guitar and sing in a half-grass all-star band called Steel Wool.

I play old-time clawhammer music on my 1905 Rettberg & Lange birds-eye maple pot frailing banjo.

I play Piano for various events like weddings, ceremonies, parties, and black-tie galas with a large repertoire of classical, ragtime, gospel, jazz, and American music.
